Hello!! The dog days of summer are here; yes, it’s hot outside but it’s cool in our Studio!  If you want to take a break from the heat, come in and look at our Class Calendars!  We have the Calendars through December, 2008 and they’ll be on our Website soon. 
If you stop in, you can pick them up and plan your glass classes through 2008! 

A few new classes are: 
1) Maria’s Precious Metal Clay-Introduction to Silver Art Clay.  Maria will teach this class on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.  Check our Calendars for specific dates.  Class is $50 plus discounted pricing on PMC tool kits, silver, dichroic and CZ’s! 
Take your jewelry to the next level!  You’ll create two jewelry items, one with dichroic and one with a cubic zirconia. 
2) Kathleen’s Advanced Fusing Techniques-first class starts Tuesday, August 12th.  If you’ve been fusing the typical slumps and drapes, take your fusing to the next level!  This four week class will help you “step out of the box” to create one-of-a-kind art! 
3) Kathleen’s Pate de Verre Techniques.  Kathleen will instruct you how to create dimensional fused pieces that can be incorporated into regular stained glass panels, mosaics or sun catchers! 
4) Gary’s Professional Soldering Techniques.  Class is Saturday, August 16th from 11am-1pm. Class is $50 and we’ll have the bevels foiled for you, so you can jump in and improve your soldering skills.  If you aren’t happy with your soldering abilities, this class is for you! 

In September, we’ll offer Digital Fusing Classes, Lampwork Beads, Fused Fall Foliage & Christmas Scopes, as well as our standard classes. 

In October, we’ll offer Intermediate Beautiful Beveled Boxes, Small Simple Tiffany Shades, Pretty Little Things plus a Saturday Intro to Copper Foil class! 

In November, we’ll offer a Saturday Mosaic Liquifusion Class, an Intermediate Copper Foil Mirrors & More Class plus all the usual. 

In December, we’ll offer PMC, Pretty Little Things, plus our HUGE Clearance Sale on December 5th & 6th! 

We are working for you, creating classes to broaden your glass horizons so call, email or stop in soon!

Hello!! 

Tomorrow is August 1st already, can you believe it?  Kathleen can’t believe-it’s her birthday tomorrow and yes, it’s a big one! 
She’s off being spoiled, loved & adored but please feel free to email her your happy birthday wishes! 

Are you ready for a NEW class?  Would you like to learn how to use PMC (precious metal clay) to create one-of-a-kind jewelry?  We have a terrific new teacher for you to get to know; Maria is an expert in PMC and she is eager to teach you how much fun it is to create incredible pieces! Maria will offer two classes in August: Monday night, August 11st from 6:30 to 9:00pm or Saturday morning, August 23rd, from 10:30am to 1pm.   The class is $50 plus supplies.  With a paid class fee, you’ll receive a 20% discount off the silver clay pricing.  We have six options on purchasing silver clay, at various grams.   The Silver Clay Tool Kit costs $65 but with a paid class, it’ll be reduced to $39.95. These classes will fill up fast!  To register, call, stop in or email.  You can provide us with your credit card information to reserve a spot for yourself plus your friends or family!  You will create two Silver Art clay pendants; one with a cubit zirconia and one with dichroic glass. Let’s have fun together, learn a new way of creating beautiful jewelry and explore what else we can create.  You’ll need to hurry, so sign up today!

Happy 4th of July ! ! !

  We are truly thankful for all who have made our Country great!
And as we celebrate tomorrow, let us keep all of those who continue to fight for us in our prayers and good wishes! We will be closed Friday, July 4th but will re-open Saturday, July 5th from 10am to 2pm.

Kathleen’s Beginner Fusing, Wednesdays starting July 9th, 11am-1pm or 7-9pm. Learn how to fuse large & layered glass  working in the digital kilns. $125 for 4 week class. 

Peggy’s Intro to Mosaic Techniques, Thursdays starting July 10th, 11am-1pm or 7-9pm.  $85 for 3-week class..no extra charge, it’s all inclusive!

Beth’s  Stamp out Dichro, Friday, July 11th, 11am-1pm, $25 + glass. Learn how to use & fuse decals & dichro slide. 

Kathleen’s Fun with Fusing, Saturday, July 12th, 11am-1pm $25 + glass. Make your own stringers; no experience necessary!  Have loads of fun!!! 

Sophia’s Intro to Lead, starting Friday, July 18th, 11am-1pm. $175 + tools, glass & supplies. Learn how to create multiple projects from lamp shades to sun catchers to a leaded panel! 

Peggy’s Modern Mosaic Mesh, Saturday, July 19th, 11am-1pm, $25 + supplies. Learn how to use mesh for an indirect method of creating mosaics.  More fun!! 

Kathleen’s Fast & Furious Fusing, Saturday, July 26th, 11am-1pm; $25 + glass & supplies. For pendants & paperweights; no experience needed! 

Peggy’s Pretty Little Things, Thursday, July 31st, 11am-1pm; $95 for 3-week class, + glass & supplies.  Create adorable adornments=must see!!
